       Pink Pony Club climbed the charts in 2024. The song follows the story of a woman leaving home to be a dancer in a gay club in West Hollywood. A story reflecting something many queer people can relate to; leaving your small town to find a community of people like you. Chappell originally met resistance from her studio about the song's release. It wasn’t until a year after its conception that it was finally released and it would be another 4 years before it found fame. Chappell Roan is a lesbian singer/songwriter from Missouri, representing the midwest in our journey of Pride Across America.
